Two parts Whiskey
Well I’m gonna see my baby and I’m running real late
Said I’d pick her up at seven now it’s quarter to eight
We got a dance going down and she was raring to go
But when I finally picked her up well she was ready to blow
I told her I was sorry and she started to cry
I drank two parts whiskey and one part dry
Two parts a whiskey and a one part dry
Mix em up together man and my oh my
It’s the only damn thing gonna get you by
That’s two parts whiskey and one part dry
Well we rolled on up to the local hall
They were hopping and a bopping and a having a ball
Well we stood at the door just a digging the scene
Coz I went and left the tickets in my other jeans
I told her I was sorry and she started to cry
I drank two parts whiskey and a one part dry
Two parts whiskey and one part dry
Mix em up together man and my oh my
It’s the only damn thing gonna get you by
That’s two parts whiskey and one part dry
Well I jumped in my car and I motored away
Gonna get my girl the tickets gonna save the day
Just cruising down the road trying to fix me a bind
And I didn’t see the cops a pulling up behind
I rolled down my window tried to give em a bribe
Made up of two parts whiskey and a one part dry.
Two parts a whisky and a one part dry
Mix em up together man and give it a try
It’s the only damn thing gonna get you by
That’s two parts whiskey and one part dry
Two parts whiskey and one part dry
Sitting in the cells wondering why oh why
Now my baby left the dance with another guy
Thanks to two parts a whisky and a one part dry

It don’t matter
Come on and walk with me
Come on and take a step
Come on and put your little hand in mine, oh baby you won’t regret it
Come on and talk with me
Come on and show you care
Come on over to my place babe and run your fingers all through my hair
It don’t matter if they’re talking about us
It’s all over the town
It don’t matter what they’re saying about us
You pick me up when I’m feeling down
You pick him up when he’s feeling down
Come on into my car
Come on and go for a ride
Come on and be my baby by my side.
It don’t matter if they’re talking about us
I can handle the flack
It don’t matter what they’re saying about us
You make my heart go clickety clack
You make his heart go clickety clack
Come on and hold my hand
Come on and squeeze it tight
Come on over and show the world that you’re my girl tonight
Come on and sit with me
Come on and move in close
Come on over and kiss me baby, Your kind of love is the most
It don’t matter if they’re talking about us
It don’t mean no thing
It don’t matter what they’re saying about us
Oh won’t you wear my diamond ring
Won’t you wear his diamond ring
Come on into my car
Come on lets go for a ride
Come on and be my baby by my side
Come on and be my baby by my side
Come on and be my baby by my side

Mamma Don’t like it
Oh well your mamma don’t like that I’m playing in a rock n roll band
And your mamma don’t like the things that we got planned
Well I know she don’t like all the clothes I wear
She aint liking that I grease my hair
No your mamma don’t like that I’m playing in a rock n roll band
Your Daddy don’t like the style of the car I drive
No your Daddy don’t like it he knows whats on my mind
It’s got a back seat where I can hold you tight
And get some loving on a saturday night
No your Daddy don’t like the style of the car that I drive
I don’t care that your folks are always hounding me no baby
I don’t care that they only wanna see us through
I don’t care about the way that they’ve been a treating me just lately
Girl all I care about is… just me and you
Oh well your Brother don’t like the guys that I call my friends
No your Brother don’t like it and he aint gonna make amends
Well your Mamma and your Brother and your Daddy too
Say they only looking out for you
Oh tell your Mamma and your Brother and your Daddy I don’t give a damn
I don’t care that your folks are always hounding me no baby
I don’t care if they only wanna see us through
I don’t care about the way that they’ve been a treating me just lately
Girl all I care about is… just me and you
Oh well your Mamma don’t like that I’m playing in a rock n roll band
And your Brother don’t like the guys I call my friends
Well your Mamma and your Brother and your Daddy too
Say they only looking out for you
But your mamma don’t like that I’m playing in a rock n roll band
No your mamma don’t like that I’m playing in a rock n roll band
No your mamma don’t like that I’m playing in a rock n roll band

Jukebox Betty
Well I was sitting in the bar just a biding my time
The door swung open and she stepped inside
Five feet four with a long blonde hair
Nothing I could do but a stop and stare
It’s true
Oh oh baby it’s true
Jukebox Betty there ain’t no other woman like you
With a high heel sneakers and tight blue jeans
They fit her mighty finely if you know what I mean
She plays her rock n roll records when she gets the chance
Jukebox Betty man she loves to dance
It’s true
Oh oh baby it’s true true true
Jukebox Betty there ain’t no other woman like you
Jukebox Betty she’s the deal
She’s got style and sex appeal
She’s always ready to rock n roll
With a wop bop a doo wop and bless my soul
Well she pulls out a nickel and fills the slot
Gets up on the floor and gives it all that she’s got
The crowd start a yellin and getting their kicks
Jukebox Betty man she’s turning her tricks
It’s true
Oh oh baby it’s true true true
Jukebox Betty there ain’t no other woman like you

Pocket Full of Money
Well I’m gonna see my baby, see my baby tonight
Well I’m gonna see my baby, see my baby tonight
I got a pocket full of money, man I’m feeling alright
Well I called her on her number there aint nobody home
I left a message on her answering phone
Said “ Listen honey this is what we’ll do”
I’m gonna spend a little of my money on you
Steppin out, steppin out baby… Ooh hoo we’re going to town
Live it up, live it up baby… We live it up until the suns going down
So Come on…
So Come on…
When I pulled up at her house and told her here’s the deal
Come slip yourself inside my automobile
Clipped her belt and put the radio on
She told me… Come on a baby let’s get us some gone
Gonna cruise, Cruising out baby… Ooh hoo we’re going to town
Live it up, live it up baby… We live it up until the suns going down
So Come on…
So Come on…
Well I’m gonna see my baby, see my baby tonight
Well I’m gonna see my baby, see my baby tonight
I got a pocket full of money, man I’m feeling alright
I got a pocket full of money, man I’m feeling alright
I got a pocket full of money, man I’m feeling alright

Do you remember
Do you remember on the night we met, the night I surrendered
Surrendered my love like I was hypnotized
I remember how you held me close so warm and tender
And all I wanted was the love that was in your eyes
Well I remember when we kissed and thought how this might lead us to paradise
And I remember how I knew that it had to be true and I could see just by the loving in your eyes
I remember how you looked I wondered if this might be heaven
I thought I must have surely gone and died
And I remember when we touched I knew how much you were giving
And all I wanted was the love that was in your eyes
Well I remember when we kissed and thought how this might lead us to paradise
And I remember how I knew that it had to be true and I could see just by the loving in your eyes
Do you remember the night we met, the night I surrendered
All I wanted was the love that was in your eyes
All I wanted was the love that was in your eyes
Yes all I ever need… is in your eyes

Voodoo Doll
Well I was walking through the jungle just the other night
There was a rustle in the bushes given me a fright
A girl jumped out and to my surprise
She had a voodoo doll that had a mean old eyes
I turned on my heels and I tried to flee
But the voodoo doll had put a spell on me
The voodoo doll put a spell on me
Man I looked into her eyes I was all at sea
The voodoo doll put a spell on me
Well I was shaking I was quaking cold and shivery
There ain’t no other reason for it I can see
Break that spell babe and set me free
Oh well I woke up in the morning I was all alone
I looked around to check and see the girl had gone
When a all of the sudden from a down the hall
A voiced called out with a voodoo call
Next thing I know it I was on my knees
Because the voodoo doll had put a spell on me
The voodoo doll put a spell on me
Man I looked into her eyes I was all at sea
The voodoo doll put a spell on me
I was shaking I was quaking cold and shivery
There ain’t no other reason for it I can see
B B B Break that spell babe and set me free
Well the next thing I remember I was one of the tribe
And the woman in the jungle’s gonna be my bride
We married in a hut made of earth and wood
And we did the wedding bop to a Johnny B Goode
The chief turned around and he said to me
That the Voodoo Doll would never let me be
The voodoo doll put a spell on me
Man I looked into her eyes I was all at sea
The voodoo doll put a spell on me
Well I was shaking I was quaking cold and shivery
There aint no other reason for it I can see
Break that spell babe and set me free
Well I turned on my heels and I tried to flee
Next thing that I know it and I’m on my knees
I looked into her eyes I was all at sea
I was shaking I was quaking cold and shivery
There aint no other reason for it I can see
Break that spell babe and set me free

All thru the night until the early morn

Big train rolling gotta keep on going won’t ya

I hear the whistle coming cross the land
It’s more than any lonesome man can stand

Big train rolling gotta keep on going won’t ya
Come on and bring a my baby back
She’s on that long black train
She’s on that long black train

Long black train wont you bring me my dame
