Hundred Dollar Bill
I’m steppin’ out babe you know I’m gonna turn me loose
Got my long grey jacket and my black suede high sole shoes
Got the smell of sweet georgia comin’ off me holdin’ up my hair
Got a hundred dollar bill and man I haven’t got a reason to care
Rollin’ down the road with the radio on
And I’m a singin’ to my favourite song
Well I stepped into the club it was around about a quarter to nine
Some guys are mouthin’ off because they didn’t like me jumpin’ the line
Got ladies all around me going’ crazy just a wanting to dance
And so I do a little number with a couple of em holdin’ my hands
Tell the bartender go and hit me again
I got a hundred dollar bill but I been cashin’ it in
I’m gettin’ ready, I’m gettin’ ready you know it feels like somethin’s going
down
I’m gettin’ ready, I’m gettin’ ready for a Teddy Boys night out on the town
Teddy Boys night out on the town
I got a two shots of whiskey on the rocks runnin’ through my veins
Well it’s just a little trick I like to use for help keeping me sane
Man the joints really jumpin’ and a thumpin’ and a bustin’ the seams
Coz it’s a rock n roll band they got playin’ on a record machine
Tell the bartender go and hit me again
I got a hundred dollar bill but I been cashin’ it in
I’m gettin’ ready, I’m gettin’ ready you know it feels like somethin’s going
down
I’m gettin’ ready, I’m gettin’ ready for a Teddy Boys night out on the town

Get on off my back
Well I’m walking home the other night and my baby made a plea
That I should cut my drinking down coz it’s not good for me
Well my disgust was utter and I shouted from that gutter
Go on girl and get on off my back
Driving in my car I got my baby by my side
Hanging on for life and she was clearly terrified
She said I was a demon and that I should quit my speeding
Go on girl now get on off my back
You know that I’ve been living life this way for quite a while
You know what you can do now babe if you don’t like my style
I’m sure I’d meet another that won’t treat me like my mother
So go on girl and get on off my back
I wake up in the morning and I know I’m running late
I’m supposed to start at seven and the clock is saying eight
My baby she keeps pushing, but there’s no use in me rushing
So go on girl and get on off my back
You know that I’ve been living life this way for quite a while
You know what you can do now babe if you don’t like my style
I’m sure I’d meet another that won’t treat me like my mother
So go on girl and get on off my back
I’m tired of doing wrong each time I think I’m doing right
And if I say it’s day, she’ll sure as hell be saying night
My ears sure get a beating from that nagging and that bleating
So go on girl and get on off my back
So go on girl and get on off my back
So go on girl and get on off my back

Last dance saloon
Well there’s a little old house upon the hill
All the folks they go there still
And you might find em there most Friday nights
They dance and drink and carry on
It’s one for all and all for one
Til someone gets too drunk and starts a fight
Well everyone is gathered by the light of the moon
And soon they will be bopping at the old last dance saloon
The band sets up behind a fence
Coz sometimes things get too intense
And the crowd starts hurling more than just abuse
But when they hear that rocking beat
That hardwood floor gets full of feet
And everyone around starts getting loose
Well everyone is dancing by the light of the moon
Hopping and a bopping at the old last dance saloon
Well the band aint really good enough
Their songs are great, but their playing’s rough
But that don’t stop them going through the night
The crowd just love to hear the bass
And see guitar mans guitar face
While bopping to the drums til morning light
Well everyone is dancing by the light of the moon
Hopping and a bopping at the old last dance saloon
The singer man I’m telling you
He’s better when he’s had a few
And some might say the same for all the band
So when it’s time to take a spell
And take a drink you know darn well
You’ll find them at the bar with one in hand
Well everyone is dancing by the light of the moon
Hopping and a bopping at the old last dance saloon
Old last dance saloon
Old last dance saloon

Do me no wrong
Don’t you do me no wrong
I never done no wrong by you
Don’t you do me no wrong
Just think of what you put me through
Why don’t you take another minute
Maybe you’ll see my point of view
Don’t you do me no wrong
I put my hands up to the sky
Girl if you gonna do me wrong
Well then you gonna make me cry
Well I’m a beggin and a pleadin
No-one can love you more than I
Well if you gonna leave me so
Girl you know I’m beggin you
That when it’s time for you to go
Oh Baby won’t you take me too
Don’t you do me no wrong
I couldn’t stand a night alone
What’s a man supposed to do
When the girl he loves is gone
Oh baby wont you reconsider
And don’t you do me no wrong
Well if you gonna leave me so
Girl you know I’m beggin you
That when it’s time for you to go
Girl wont you take a me too ooh ooh
Don’t you do me no wrong
I couldn’t stand a night alone
What’s a man supposed to do
When the girl he loves is gone
Oh baby wont you reconsider
And don’t you do me no wrong

Cat of the night
I saw her on the high street, it was late at night
I thought I’d do the right thing, and check that she was alright
Well I got a little closer, and to my surprise
She turned around and she knocked me out and punched me right between the eyes
She was cruel cruel cruel, she was the cat of the night
And she took me back to her den without so much as a fight
I woke up in the mornin’, all tired and confused
I couldn’t help feeling, that my body’d been used
I was cold and I was lonely, and kind of ashamed
Coz she took me used me up and spat me out
and she never even asked my name
She was cruel cruel cruel, she was the cat of the night
If she wanted me she could’ve asked, it would’ve been alright
Now I’m waiting on the high street, to see her again
There’s one or two things that, I think she ought to explain
Why suddenly my hair now, is smooth like silk
And why I can’t go to bed and rest my sleepy head, until I’ve had my saucer of milk
She was cruel cruel cruel, she was the cat of the night
If she wanted me she could’ve asked, it would’ve been alright
If she wanted me she could’ve asked, it would’ve been alright
If she wanted me she could’ve asked, it would’ve been alright

Long and Lonely Nights
Well it’s been too long, that I been gone
And now it’s time for coming home
Girl I want you… To be strong
Well I done my time for a stupid crime
And I want to sing these words of mine
I wrote you… While I was gone
I wanna pick up my guitar and sing my song
Well I’ve been missing you
Those long and lonely nights
It’s enough to break a grown man and make him cry
And I’ve been thinking
Like all those other guys
I aint never never going back there
Cross my heart and hope to die
Well I can change you know I can
I got my flaws like any man
But without you… Well I aint whole
I know it hurts I made you cry
But I know you know this heart of mine
Still loves you… and Heaven knows
I won’t ever leave again God bless my soul
Coz I’ve been missing you
Those long and lonely nights
It’s enough to break a grown man and make him cry
And I’ve been thinking
Like all those other guys
I aint never never going back there
Cross my heart and hope to die
Cross my heart and hope to die
Cross my heart and hope to die

Coz I’ve a been trying to get you to

Ooh b baby I’m a starting to see
That a maybe is as good as I’m ever gonna get from you

I keep on walking that same old ground
Coz a maybe is as good as I’m ever gonna get from you

That don’t matter to me
I got a hole right in the pocket of my old ten dollar jeans
A shirt that’s seen much better days coz it’s all torn at the seams
But that don’t matter to me
Coz I aint worried baby can’t you see
And if that don’t matter to me, then you can let it go
I got a tax man chasing money knocking upon my door
I got the rent man saying pay up son or you can’t live here no more
But that don’t matter to me
Coz I aint worried baby can’t you see
Well if that don’t matter to me, then you can let it go
Don’t matter which any way it’s spun
I don’t need nobody baby tell me what I should or shouldna done
Well the boss man told me Friday that he had to let me know
If I came to work late one are day he gonna have to let me go
But that don’t matter to me
Coz I aint worried baby can’t you see
Well if that don’t matter to me, then you can let it go
Don’t matter which any way it’s spun
I don’t need nobody baby tell me what I should or shouldna done
Well my Mum and Dad they told me each and every night
Nothing come from crying son well I guess that they were right
But that don’t matter to me
Coz I aint worried baby can’t you see
Well if that don’t matter to me, then you can let it go
If that don’t matter to me, then you can let it go
If that don’t matter to me, then you can let it go
